Entry requirements

Entrants to the program shall normally hold:
- A successfully completed bachelors degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent*; or
- A Graduate Diploma in Management with a grade point average of at least 4.0 from the University of South Australia or an equivalent qualification from another recognised university.
* Normally applicants who have completed a bachelors degree with a grade point average of 4** or better will be eligible for entry.
** A GPA of 4 refers to the UniSA grading scale which has a range 1 - 7, other Australian and international grading scales will be considered.

Aim

To provide high potential, discipline-specific professionals and managers with management and leadership development beyond their current areas of expertise. It aims to develop strong decision-making, team and communication skills, and a rich global perspective within an ethical framework.

Content & Structure

The program requires completion of courses totalling 54 units. The academic year is of 4 terms of 11 weeks duration, commencing from late January through to mid-December each year.

Rules & notes

Rules

1. Students who have taken for another award, a course which is substantially equivalent to a course from the program schedule, must substitute a course of equal standing and unit value, with the approval of the Program Director.

2. Students wishing to enrol in elective courses offered by the MBA program, must have permission from the Program Director.

3. Students enrolled in the Le Cordon Bleu MBA program who wish to exit the program after satisfactory completion of 18 units, at least 9 units of which must be core courses, may exit the program with the award Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.

4. Students enrolled in the Le Cordon Bleu MBA program who wish to exit the program after satisfactory completion of 36 units, at least 18 units of which must be core courses, may exit the program with the award Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
