Entry requirements
Entrants to the program shall normally hold:
- A successfully completed bachelors degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent*; or
- Four years relevant work experience and a Diploma in a relevant discipline; or
- Two years relevant work experience and an Advanced Diploma in a relevant discipline; or
- Relevant work experience for at least six years.
* Normally applicants who have completed a bachelors degree with a grade point average of 4** or better will be recognised for entry.
** A GPA of 4 refers to the UniSA grading scale which has a range of 1 - 7, other equivalent Australian and international grading scales will be considered.

Aim

The program is designed to provide education for graduates and other students with interest in the area of management. A general Management degree can be completed or specialisations are available in the following areas: Administrative Management; Event Management; Integrated Supply Chain Management; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Procurement and Tourism Management.

Content & Structure

To qualify for the award students must complete one division core course, two courses in the area of specialisation and one elective course for a total of 18 units.

Rules

1. Students who have previously completed courses from the division core can apply for credit.

2. Students who have a background or previous studies in a particular course may substitute a course of equal value and standing with the approval of the Program Director.

Notes

1. Specialisations are available in the following areas: Management; Administrative Management; Event Management; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Integrated Supply Chain Management; Procurment and Tourism.

2. Choose electives from any School of Management postgraduate courses in any of the specialisation areas listed above or from the University website - http://www.unisanet.unisa.edu.au/courses . A course from another division can be studied only with the permission of the Program Director. Some specialisations may have prescribed electives. Not all elective courses will be available in any one year.

3. Students studying the Integrated Supply Chain Management specialisation may choose electives from the School of Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering with the permission of the Program Director.

4. The program may be taken part time or full time.
