1. The program comprises: a division core of eight courses; a specialisation sequences of 7 courses specific to the program; and one elective course.
1. The division core comprises eight courses which are common to all the undergraduate programs in the Division of Business and Enterprise. The Centre for Regional Engagement only offers these courses in the study period indicated in the program schedule. The core comprises: ACCT 1008 Accounting for Business; BUSS 1058 Communication and Information Systems in Business; COML 1001 Foundations of Business Law; BUSS 1057 Business and Society; MATH 1053 Quantitative Methods for Business; MARK 1010 Marketing Principles: Trading and Exchange; ECON 1008 Principles of Economics; and BUSS 1054 Management Principles.
2. The accounting specialisation sequence comprises: ACCT 1006 Financial Accounting 1; ACCT 2005 Financial Accounting 2; ACCT 3007 Financial Accounting 3; BANK 2005 Finance and Investment; ACCT 2006 Management Accounting; COML 2005 Companies and Partnership Law; and BUSS 3043 Entrepreneurial Enterprises.
3. Electives may be offered in alternate years and include: BUSS 1053 Occupational Health and Safety Management; BUSS 2043 Foundations of Human Resource Management; and with the approval of the Program Director, any other course offered through the Centre for Regional Engagement where the prerequisites are satisfied.
