Entry requirements
- Applicants would normally have completed an undergraduate degree in built environment, engineering, surveying, architecture; OR
- Project management; OR
- an equivalent qualification; OR
- a minimum of six years of relevant industry experience.
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Aim

The program is designed to provide continuing education for graduate students normally from disciplines associated with the building, engineering and real estate industries to their specific professional interests.

Rules

1. No course which is substantially equivalent to a course taken in gaining another award may be included in the program of study unless the previous award is surrendered. Credit will not normally be given for more than one third of the total units of the program.

Notes

1. The program will normally be available for full-time study over one study period or part-time study over two study periods.

2. Not all courses will be available in any one calendar year.

3. Students may select any combination of courses to construct individual programs of study. Alternative courses from other existing postgraduate programs or final year courses in the relevant degree programs may be approved by the Head of School.
