1. Students wishing to take the Accounting specialisation may need to complete an additional course to meet requirements for professional recognition.
1. The program comprises: core courses; courses from specialisation 1; and courses from specialisation 2.
2. These courses in the Accounting specialisation can be taken as part of the Electives in other specialisations, reducing the total number of courses required.
3. This course should be replaced with Managerial Economics M if Accounting is taken as the second specialisation.
4. This course should be replaced with Corporate Finance if Accounting is taken as the second specialisation.
5. Marketing electives should be chosen from the prescribed list of courses. Note: Not all elective courses are available every study period.
6. Electives should be chosen from courses offered by the Divison of Business and in a related discipline and approved by the Program Director.
7. Credit will not be granted for courses in this program. Students who have taken for another award, a course which is substantially equivalent to a course from the program schedule, must substitute a course of equal standing and unit value, with the approval of the Program Director.
8. If the Accounting specialisation is taken, ACCT 5011 Accounting for Management M should be replaced with ACCT 5023 Financial Accounting Fundamentals.
9. The Master of International Studies is awarded to candidates who complete the International Studies specialisation within the DMDD Business Double Masters degree program. The International Studies specialisation within the DMDD Business Double Masters degree program is the responsibility of the Program Director of the MMIL Master of International Studies degree. Five business masters courses fulfil the requirements of the Master of International Studies degree in addition to seven International Studies electives or (for gradautes of a bachelors degree program including the equivalent of the professional major in International Relations only) three International Studies masters electives and a Master of International Studies thesis. Up to seven courses or 31.5 units completed as part of a MMIL Master of International Studies may articulate into a DMDD Business Double Masters degree program. Not all International Studies courses will be available every year.
10. Students completing the Double Masters program will receive a parchment for each of the single masters programs.
11. Students may exit this program and receive the qualification of the program for which they meet the requirements. This award may be at graduate certificate, graduate diploma or masters level depending on the studies undertaken by the student.
