Accounting exam revision sessions

Give yourself an early advantage and get insider tips on how to best prepare for your upcoming SACE Stage 2 accounting exams!

Are you a year 12 accounting student? Do you want to learn the skills needed to achieve success in your exams? The University of South Australia holds exam revision sessions that will provide you with strategies, hints and tips on what you need to know for your upcoming exams.

Sessions will be delivered by UniSA’s teaching staff and is supported by the Business & Enterprise Teachers Association of SA Inc.

Who will deliver the session?

"Our Accounting Workshops offer students the opportunity to look at how they can best prepare for their upcoming Accounting exam. This 2 hour session will look at best practice revision methods, but also enables students to apply those skills to practice questions from previous exam papers and get some immediate feedback. Students have commented that previous workshops have been really helpful as they were able to get some insights from a different perspective and this complemented what their teachers had already told them."

Phil Johnson is course coordinator for a large first year introductory accounting course as well as teaching in second and third year courses. Phil’s academic career has focused on the development of high quality and engaging courses for first year accounting students studying on-campus, in online mode and internationally. In 2015 and 2018, Phil was recognised by being awarded an Achievement in Teaching & Learning Award. With 20 years of teaching experience in a variety of tertiary institutions and extensive experience working as a commercial accountant, Phil brings a wealth of accounting experience to UniSA.
The workshop 100% helped me prepare for the exam. It offered insight into what the final exam would be like by going through the SACE assessment advice and also provided a range of challenging practice questions.
