Description

This major provides students with the knowledge and skills required to become creative managers in tourism and hospitality. Students study the social and cultural factors which influence the provision of tourism and hospitality, acquiring a theoretical base which will provide them with the framework to carry out research, policy evaluation and imaginative planning, identify keys to successful tourism and hospitality management, and to making informed judgments about environmentally appropriate tourism.
