Carry out cross country flying using visual flight rules while striving for commercial pilot licence professionalism and accuracy.

Course content

Flight planning, performance and preparation; departure and entry procedures controlled and in controlled aerodromes; diversions and simulated in-flight emergencies; flight outside and within controlled airspace; en-route navigation under visual flight rules.

Students must hold a minimum of a Class II Medical with at least 6 months validity. Students must remain compliant with the Aviation Academy's Drug and Alcohol Management Plan (DAMP). Students must have a current ASIC to enrol. Students must have passed CASA CPL Theory Exam 1 Students must have passed CASA CPL Theory Exam 2

Practical (Students are assigned an instructor for the duration of the course who will work with each student individually to plan and book flight lessons.) 6 weeks x 2-3 flights per week
