Course aim

To introduce students to the key theoretical, formal and practical aspects of screen sound.

Course content

Students will explore sound as it connects to a range of mainstream and non-mainstream media forms and aesthetics. In the practical components of the course students will be introduced to the basic sound skills, techniques and professional practices which underpin film, television and other media production.
