Course aim

To introduce students to a holistic design process for the development of mechatronic systems.

Course content

The course is based on a major design project. Key elements of the project include the use of an integrated design process, system specifications, concept design, sub system selection, system modelling, mechanical system design, control system design and build, electronic circuit design, software development, project build and test, documentation.
