To develop mastery in instrumental, interpretive and technical skills in chosen Jazz idioms on a principal musical instrument or voice.
Practical applications of improvisational techniques to develop the student's facility in the technical and stylistic aspects of improvisation to a professional level. Students will undertake continued studies in their principal instrument and plan and manage a practice routine and development of a performance repertoire. This course will focus on the continued development of individual performance skills with an emphasis on presentation in a professional context.
