Course aim

To enable students to consolidate their knowledge and apply their skills, capabilities and expertise to establish and prepare for a career pathway in contemporary industry environments.

Course content

Students will consider the future of the sector and industry in which they plan to work and will be advised by industry practitioners and professional associations. Deliberation of current social and political issues and theories relevant to employment and industry policies will be covered. Students will explore their Professional Major expertise, aptitudes, interests and practice to develop a professional preparation to plan for either their internship or project, which will require and be informed by their knowledge and understanding of the theoretical positions and perspectives of the introductory and intermediate courses in the Professional Major.
