Course aim

To develop students' advanced knowledge of social research perspectives and techniques and an advanced
knowledge of the theories and values that guide research approaches and methods.

Course content

Students will develop an advanced knowledge of social theories and the social purpose of research and of
research design and methodology including quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques. Students will
develop the cognitive and technical skills to design and use research in a project and communicate research
findings.
