Course aim

The aim of this course is to equip students with the physiological, pathophysiological, diagnostic procedures, medications and medical and allied health management knowledge related to target pathologies for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (Accredited Exercise Physiologist).

Course content

Principles of disease processes: pathophysiology and pathology, surgical and medical procedures, clinical status and clinical outcomes, biological, sociocultural, behavioural and environmental alleviating and aggravating factors, risk factor stratification, pharmacological interventions, and electrocardiography for Accredited Exercise Physiologist target pathologies.
