Course aim
Students will develop their advanced competency and clinical leadership capability in the nurse practitioner role.
Course content
Content in this field-based unit is determined by the student’s specialty context of practice and their own learning objectives. Students will explore the scope of extended clinical practice available to them in the specialty in which they are undertaking the internship and develop personal learning objectives that reflect the knowledge and skills required for an extended scope of practice in consultation with their clinical support teams.
