School of Nursing and Midwifery
Students will demonstrate the advanced extended nursing practice expected of a nurse practitioner in their specialty and context through extended, supervised immersion in the clinical role.
Content in this field based course is determined by the student’s specialty context of practice and learning objectives. Students will develop their capability to function in the extended scope of clinical practice required of the nurse practitioner in their clinical context and demonstrate progress toward achievement of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Nurse Practitioner Standards for Practice.
