Course aim

To provide students with a broad understanding of the methods of practical and field geoscience.

Course content

Petrology of igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks; structural geology, ductile and brittle structures; interpretation and construction of geological maps; structural analysis in laboratory and field; digital mapping, remote sensing of Earth materials.
