Your faded jeans and scuffed sneakers have long since been replaced by business suits, late nights out on the town replaced by early mornings in the office. Maybe you’ve got a mortgage and a couple of kids too, but one thing is certain: that if you’re thinking about postgrad study you’ve definitely grown up since your last study stint as an undergrad.
Good news is that UniSA has too. Having celebrated our 25th birthday last year, we ranked in the Top 2% of most innovative universities*, our Business School is ranked in the top 1% worldwide^ and we are currently ranked 24 in the QS World University Ranking for institutions under 50 years old.
Our Vice Chancellor, Professor David Lloyd, is positioning UniSA as a centre for innovation and enterprise across the sectors that will drive the future of the nation. This commitment is evident through the establishment of the UniSA Centre for Cancer Biology (in partnership with SA Pathology), our pivotal partnership role in the SA Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the new Royal Adelaide Hospital. As well as through the founding of the Defence and Systems Institute (DASI), the Future Industries Institute and the development of a collaborative partnership with a global education and research leader, University College London.
It’s also worth noting our commitment to research with an industry focus is unprecedented in the state, with 97 percent of our assessed research rated world-class or above#. While on a national scale we are Australia’s youngest university to be awarded five-stars in research%.
We are home to some of the best teaching facilities in the world – including the new Jeffrey Smart Building, The Hawke Centre and the 'under construction' Great Hall, which will include a function space, indoor sports facilities, fitness centre and a 25 metre swimming pool, all at the City West Campus.
With this in mind, it’s clear that UniSA is well positioned to innovate your future through the delivery of postgraduate qualifications which will provide you with new knowledge, ways to manage change, develop networks and the ability to seize opportunities. Ultimately, providing you with much greater professional satisfaction and respect in your chosen field.
That said, we know flexibility is a vital part of your decision to return to study and so we offer more than 60 fully flexible Graduate Certificate, Diplomas and Masters degrees with options to study online, part-time, combined on/off campus study, and outside of traditional semester offerings through our Summer and Winter schools.
So while you’ve grown up, so have we. Join Australia’s University of Enterprise.
