This Fast-track to Masters program allows you to fast-track your career by completing an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in just four years. You will be able to diversify your skill set, increase your earning potential with a more advanced qualification, and expand your career opportunities across a range of fields.

As part of this packaged program, you can:

  • Build your own degree by completing two minors (usually eight courses)) across a range of different study areas.
  • Undertake a one-year international exchange with Rennes School of Business in Brittany, France.

You will be immersed in real-world challenges and have access to practical-based electives including industry internships and simulation projects. You will also benefit from other experience-based learning opportunities, including overseas study and business mentoring. Our summer and winter schools also offer exciting study and learning opportunities.

The Master of Management provides you with contemporary management skills and expertise across areas such as project management, leadership and strategy. You will gain the confidence to manage organisations and achieve business objectives in an efficient and effective manner.

What you Learn

Your undergraduate degree will start with core courses in business. These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals such as international business, economics and entrepreneurship. There are also eight courses that you can use to custom build your degree. For example, you could choose to do either:

  • two minors (four courses each) or
  • a 12-month international exchange.

Study hours

For each course you study, you will need to allocate time for various classes such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars and practicals. Plus you will need additional hours to study in your own time to complete assignments, readings and projects, as well as to contribute to online discussion forums (independent study). So as a general rule, if you are studying full-time you would need to allocate 12–26 hours of study when at university and 14–28 hours of independent study per week.

Why Bachelor of Business (Pathway to Master of Management)

Why this Degree

This Fast-track to Masters program enables you to commence a 3-year Bachelor of Business and secure a place in a 1-year Master of Management (typically 1.5 years) in just four years of study.

You will fast track your progression into the master’s qualification by substituting four selected courses or electives in your bachelor's degree to complete master’s-level courses.

This program gives you a solid grounding in core business concepts and the flexibility to create your own study plan, as well as advanced management skills to become a successful leader and decision-maker.

There are different ways to tailor your undergraduate degree to suit your future career.

You can choose to:

  • Build your own degree by completing two minors (without electives) across a range of different study areas.
  • Participate in a one-year international exchange with the prestigious Rennes School of Business in Brittany, France, and receive two parchments after just three years of full-time study. On exchange, you will have the flexibility to specialise in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Finance or Marketing, as well as undertake an internship in France. Upon successful completion of your studies, you will graduate with a UniSA Bachelor of Business and an International Bachelor Programme in Management from Rennes School of Business.

Your program director

I am a Senior Lecturer (Strategy and Entrepreneurship) and the Program Director for a number of postgrad business courses. I am also the co-Director for Centre for Enterprise Dynamics in Global Economies (C-EDGE), a research centre within UniSA. In the past I had the opportunity to work and provide consultancy to industry and the government in Australia and India. I’ve also conducted extensive, high-quality research in the field of innovation policy, entrepreneurship, strategy, and international business. As Program Director for this degree, I believe students will benefit from both industry informed coursework and practical opportunities such as business mentorships, to help advance their future career goals.
