You’re considered an International student if you are a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
Ranked in the top one per cent worldwide1, our Business School offers the latest in contemporary business practice and theory.
You will study a set of core business courses and learn to think analytically, interpret business information, problem-solve, work collaboratively and make informed business decisions.
You will gain an excellent foundation in key business areas. These will give you the knowledge and skills to move forward with further postgraduate studies. Your learning will be supported by current, practical case studies – so you will be able to confidently apply your new skills to real-world business environments.
1 UniSA Business School is one of just nine institutions in the country and 169 globally to be accredited by EQUIS. There are a total pool of 16,585 business schools worldwide, AACSB, May 2017.
UniSA is renowned nationally and internationally for excellence in business education. We develop our degrees in partnership with industry and connect with top professional bodies so our degrees remain relevant to today’s business environment.
In your studies you will gain knowledge of accounting, economics, marketing and management. You will learn to think analytically, interpret business information, problem-solve, work collaboratively, inform business decisions and communicate effectively. You will be taught by business experts, many of whom are also researchers, and you’ll study their findings in class. We also involve our Australian and international business partners in course planning – so you’ll work on industry projects that are relevant today.
If you have at least five years’ management experience but don’t hold an undergraduate degree, this Graduate Certificate in Business is the pathway into a UniSA graduate diploma or master degree. Once you complete this certificate, you will be eligible to apply for any of our master programs in business (excluding the MBA) and you’ll be eligible for four courses of credit.
Have you ever wanted to have career guidance from an experienced business mentor? As part of your studies, you can apply for our Executive Partner Programme. This is a unique opportunity for our postgraduate students to engage with highly successful industry executives to enhance their studies and career. Our Executive Partners are either active, semi-retired or recently retired business professionals who have a wealth of knowledge and want to help you achieve your goals.
For each course you study, you will need to allocate time for various classes such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars and practicals. Plus you will need additional hours to study in your own time to complete assignments, readings and projects and contribute to online discussion forums. So as a general rule, if you are studying full-time you would need to allocate 12 – 26 hours of study when at university and 14 – 28 hours of independent study per week.
Your studies at UniSA will incorporate both practical, professionally-focused and research-based learning, so assessment types will vary. You can expect them to include:
