This program is designed specifically to provide a degree pathway for students who hold a qualification or its equivalent. To be eligible for entry, applicants are required to have completed a relevant qualification/s in the same discipline that is assessed as equivalent to an AQF Advanced Diploma, attracting up to 54 units of credit.

International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive.
Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

This degree is available to students who wish to study their University of South Australia degree in Hong Kong. The degree is offered in Hong Kong in collaboration with Hong Kong Baptist University, School of Continuing Education.
The leisure industries (sport, recreation, tourism, arts) are dynamic, growing and global. The increased professionalism and growth in these industries means that continuing employment options for graduates exist in an enormous range of areas. The Bachelor of Business (Sport and Recreation Management) program provides students with the skills, knowledge and qualities to work in a wide range of areas. These include sport management, event management, leisure management, recreation planning, outdoor recreation and tourism.
Content & Structure
The Bachelor of Business (Sport and Recreation Management) requires the completion of courses totalling 108 units. Twelve Business School core courses, eight Sport and Recreation Management majors and four electives.
1. Admission to the program is managed by Hong Kong Baptist University in collaboration with the University of South Australia.
2. Students entering this program would normally be expected to achieve up to 12 courses (54 units) credit into the program.
3. There is one intake per year in September and the program is delivered over 3 study periods
4. Students would normally be expected to complete program requirements in 12 months.
5. Students may attend a graduation ceremony or presentation of awards ceremony in Adelaide or Hong Kong. The Hong Kong ceremony can be attended in the November following the standard completion date.
6. Where required electives can be chosen from the UniSA Business School Bachelor programs offered at HKBU. Any electives selected from outside of the Business School are subject to approval by the Program Director. Electives chosen must be at an advanced level (third year courses).
