Applicants are required to have:
- A completed Bachelors degree or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution; OR
- A completed Graduate Diploma in IT or equivalent OR
- A completed Graduate Certificate in IT or equivalent
English language entry requirements
In addition, international students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission. Possession of one or more of these qualifications, in addition to the academic entry requirements, does not, in itself, guarantee a place at the University of South Australia. Applications are considered on an individual basis and selection is competitive. Where previous study/work experience was conducted in English, the application must be accompanied by certified documentation from the educational institution/employer certifying that the language of instruction/employment was English.

Aim

To develop the knowledge and skills of students in core topics in IT and advanced skills in Business Intelligence.

Content & Structure

A total of 54 units of study must be completed for the degree. The program is comprised of an IT core (18 units) and a major in Business Intelligence (36 units).

2. The Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice (Information Technology) provides a pathway for subsequent entry to this program and both awards can be completed in two years of full time study or part time equivalent.
