Aim

This program provides graduates in mechanical oriented engineering disciplines with an advanced understanding of the current practice and technology in one of the following specialisations:

Advanced Manufacturing Technology
Engineering and Technology Management
Energy and Sustainable Systems
Materials and Nanotechnology

Content & Structure

The Master of Engineering program requires the completion of courses comprising 54 units. The units of study may consist of either:

10 x 4.5 unit courses and MFET 5045 Cases in Engineering Applications (9 units) OR
8 x 4.5 unit courses and MFET 5034 Minor Thesis 1(Eng) (9 units) and MFET 5035 Minor Thesis 2 (Eng) (9 units) OR
10 x 4.5 unit courses and MFET 5034 Minor Thesis 1(Eng) (9 units)
Applicants are referred to the Program Director to choose a particular program of study appropriate to their academic background and professional interests.
