There is growing international demand for qualified cybersecurity professionals with the ability to understand threats and provide solutions that secure critical technologies and support societal resilience. 

Our unique cybersecurity programs, designed with direct industry consultation, enable graduates to develop industry relevant security solutions that will have a high impact on society.

Graduates will have the skills, competencies, and expertise required to protect critical systems in sectors such as hospitals, financial entities, government agencies, and private industry. They will have an understanding of technologies such as networks, web and cloud, operating systems, applications, and the industrial internet.

Technical skills will be taught within an organisational context, with professional and communication skills embedded throughout the program in topics such as: security principles, risk assessment, security governance and policies, standards and legislation, compliance, and digital forensics.

The alliance will deliver multi-disciplinary education courses for undergraduate and postgraduate students, along with the creation of a joint research and innovation fund to develop and attract innovation to South Australia.
