Course aim

Undertake a comprehensive study of the anatomical structures of the head and neck and the structure and function of the human nervous system (central and peripheral).

Course content

Gross anatomy of the head and neck, fascial sheaths and spaces in the neck, oral cavity, trachea, pharynx, larynx, facial muscles, blood vessels and nerves of the head and neck region, central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system (sensory, motor, visual, auditory, vestibular systems, association and speech areas, motor and sensory tracts, ventricular system, basal nuclei, limbic system, cranial and spinal nerves), its functions and blood supply of the central nervous system.
