Course aim

To equip students with theory and practical examples commensurate with operating an aircraft as a professional commercial pilot.

Course content

Theoretical knowledge of Human Factor; Meteorology; Flight Rules and Air Law within a regulatory civil aviation system; Operations, Performance and Flight Planning; Navigation; Aerodynamics; Aircraft General Knowledge; and, Professional Pilot Practice.

Only students who are already in the Graduate Diploma in Aviation (LGAN) or those who do not intend to undertake the LGAN should enrol in this course. Students who complete this course prior to admission into LGAN Graduate Diploma in Aviation may be disqualified from entry into the Graduate Diploma. Students who are yet to be accepted into the Graduate Diploma should seek enrolment advice from the Program Director.
