Course aim

To enable students to relate the nature of inquiry based research to the contextual needs of educational practitioners.
To enable students to conduct and appraise the value of inquiry based research whilst positioning the contemporary research method within the wider continuum of scientific or social-based investigations.

Course content

Refining research proposal; forming a data collection plan; designing and developing data collection tools; revisiting ethical considerations; managing data; data analysis; writing a research report.
