Rapid increases in social media content across multiple platforms are leading to changes in the way organisations communicate. With a focus on engagement over content overload, this course will develop your understanding of social media strategy and branding from both academic and industry perspectives.
This course will examine social media strategy, advertising and branding across multiple industry sectors. Students will develop in-depth social media strategy knowledge and an understanding of user profiles aligned to high profile campaigns. Working with our industry partner in the creative industry sector, students will have the opportunity to extend their knowledge of branding and reputation management in a professional communication context.
