Course aim

This courses aims to develop micro and macro economic perspectives on contemporary issues in energy, resources and environmental economics.

Course content

This course provides an introduction to microeconomics and applications of microeconomics in the fields of energy, resources and environment. In the first part of the course, the basic principles and concepts of microeconomics are introduced. In the second part of the course, the basic concepts of environmental economics will be introduced, with a focus on pollution control instruments.
