Course aim

This advanced level course provides students with the opportunity to participate in an industry based experience. The course aims to enhance students’ professional competencies, business consulting and career readiness skills. 

Course content

Students will work in small teams to solve a real world employer based problem or project.

The course will provide a project orientation incorporating professional conduct, ethical responsibilities, student and employer responsibilities, and occupational health and safety practice, supervision and a report by a workplace mentor.

Students will be required to keep a reflective journal detailing their experiences, reflecting both personally and professionally, which will be explored during a debriefing seminar following the project.

36 units postgraduate coursework, or at the discretion of the Course Coordinator. Students who have completed a postgraduate level practicum or internship are not eligible to enrol in this course, unless approved by Program Director.
