Course aim

To implement a secure environment encompassing all elements of the physical web.

Course content

In this course, students will gain specialist skills and knowledge in the following:

  • Techniques for assessing and enhancing the security of Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
  • An understanding of the cybersecurity aspects of an industrial control system (e.g. networked PLCs and SCADA) in a critical infrastructure environment.
  • Methods for providing secure enterprise level wireless services in a hierarchically privileged network environment.
  • The processes for analysing mobile platforms and applications against organisational security policies and related technical requirements.
