Course aim

This course aims to advance the knowledge of occupational health and health practitioners to provide them with a sound  basis of the theoretical considerations, practical issues and barriers related to work injury management in Australian workplaces.

Course content

Legislation, stakeholders, health issues arising from work and from not working, injury management (work and non-work related), the role of the workplace, acute and chronic pain, common barriers, conflict and ethical issues.
