Course aim

To develop advanced skills in music performance in a chosen instrument or voice and demonstrate ability to work independently to prepare musical performances to the highest level.

Course content

Students will focus on the development of a repertoire of Jazz music which demonstrates advanced performance skills on their chosen instrument or voice. Students will choose appropriate music, research its historical and social contexts and prepare the foundations of a portfolio of music for public performance.
