Course aim

To develop proficiency in instrumental, interpretive and technical skills.

Course content

Repertoire from the Bebop and Latin Jazz eras will be studied and the students will plan and manage a practice routine and performance repertoire. This course will also focus on the continued development of individual performance skills with an emphasis on presentation. Basic jazz piano skills will continue to be developed to supplement learning and provide the important working piano skills widely applicable in the music industry.
