To develop foundational instrumental, interpretive and technical skills.
Developing the student's understanding of the fundamental principles and techniques of musical performance within a jazz context. Technical skills will further be developed with the continuation of basic vocal and jazz piano skills in addition to small ensemble rehearsals and performances. Students will also attend master classes and evaluate faculty and student performances.
