Course aim

To develop competencies in IT service management with a focus on aligning IT service provision with the needs of the business, drawing on best practice guidelines from the Information Technology Infrastructure Library® (ITIL®) framework.

ITIL® Foundation and ITIL® Service Operation; Service management as a practice; The ITIL® service lifecycle; Service strategy, service design, service transition, and continual service improvement; Introduction to service operation; Service operation principles; Service operation processes; Common service operation activities; Organising for service operation; Technology considerations; Implementation of service operation; Challenges, critical success factors and risks
