Course aim

This course will introduce students to fundamental theories and applications of Electronics and the application of simple microcontroller programming.

Course content

This course will introduce students to electrical and electronics concepts and their applications.  Students will be introduced to basic electrical qualities, systems of units, discrete electronic components and Ohm's Law.  Students will gain an understanding of fundamental project planning and microcontroller programming allowing them to collect and process information with aim to controlling devices in the real world.
