Course aim

Students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop leadership and/or management roles in nursing and health services.

Course content

Theories of leadership and management and their application to nursing and health services; emotional intelligence; building resilience; creating influence; change management (leading and building multi-disciplinary teams); organisational development, nursing and multi-disciplinary staff development, mentoring staff; performance management; managing staff; resource management.
