Course aim

Advanced application of pathophysiological bases, assessment procedures and health management approaches to target pathologies for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).

Course content

Pathophysiology and pathology, surgical and medical procedures, natural history, alleviating and aggravating factors, medical, surgical and allied health interventions for chronic disease management of AEP target pathologies. Development of clinical reasoning and knowledge synthesis skills through problem based learning.
