Course aim

The aim of this course is to allow the student to acquire the advanced knowledge and skills required to perform practice in the area of musculoskeletal sonography with autonomy, expert judgement, adaptability and responsibility.

Course content

Normal and abnormal sono-anatomy of musculoskeletal structures; scanning principles of musculoskeletal sonography; techniques and clinical indicators for shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot; sonographic examination; scanning lumps and bumps; common interventional musculoskeletal procedures.
