Course aim

The aim of this course is to develop practical and professional skills in radiation therapy treatment and planning to an advanced level.

Course content

Clinical skills development in external beam radiation therapy treatment and planning to a level of thorough knowledge and understanding of the technical skills of treatment and planning; patient care and communication; safety; professional behaviour; team work; self motivation and legal and ethical issues, scope of practice, self reflection, clinical reasoning, preparation of recruitment and job selection procedures.
