Course aim

To develop practical and professional skills in radiation therapy treatment and planning to an intermediate level.

Course content

Clinical skills development in external beam radiation therapy treatment and planning to a level of thorough knowledge and understanding of the technical skills of treatment and planning; patient care and communication; safety; professional behaviour; team working; self motivation, self-directed learning, quality assurance and legal and ethical issues, quality assurance, resource utilisation.
