Course aim

To develop students' knowledge and skills using 3-dimensional computer modelling, including advanced organic form creation, for the development, evaluation, documentation and communication of product design.

Course content

Students will develop their awareness and skill in using computer aided design software to develop, evaluate and communicate products via technical drawings of components and assemblies and visually appealing presentations including animations and renderings. They will also develop their knowledge and skill for digital collaboration in product development teams and with external vendors. Students will use the computer modelling skills to create a range of complex computer models with a high degree of accuracy, surface continuity and detail resolution.
