Geospatial Data Acquisition and Analysis

Course aim

To enable students to appraise primary and secondary geospatial data types and collection methods to subsequently apply appropriate analysis techniques to natural and built environmental issues.

Course content

This course incorporates techniques of acquiring and building geospatial data in the field and office environments, and then the analysis of various geospatial data e.g. raster, network, geo-coded and census, in GIS software packages.
