Course aim

To provide students with the ability to map and interpret the geological and environmental evolution of landscapes.

Course content

Interpretation and construction of geological and regolith maps; mapping and interpreting the evolution of land surface features such as soil and weathering profiles, water courses, and dispersal of environmental contaminants; sampling and analytical considerations prescribed in the Natural Environmental Protection Measure; collection and analysis of metal and trace element chemical data to identify regions of concern to environmental and human health.
