Course aim

To expand a student’s knowledge and understanding of the health care system with particular reference to the features that directly influence the practice of pharmacy.

Course content

Ethics; health provision in Australia; working within the Pharmaceutical Benefit Scheme; quality use of medicines; medication safety; Australian pharmacy law; primary healthcare.
