Course aim

To develop problem solving skills and core programming techniques.

Course content

Problem Solving:  A problem solving process; Problem solving approaches; algorithmic thinking, pattern recognition, decomposition, abstraction.
Introduction to programming – language concepts, keywords, types, constants, variables, expressions, Boolean expressions, sequence, choice, loops, functions, parameters, strings, lists, File I/O, objects, debugging.
