Course aim
To introduce students to the concepts, applications, basic analysis and measurements in electrical and electronic systems.
Course content
This course will cover concepts and applications on basic electrical quantities, systems of units, resistance, resistive circuits, Ohms Law, KCL, KVL, capacitors, inductors, transients, diodes, simple OP amps and first order steady state analysis. This course will also introduce fundamental concepts of magnetic circuits, transformers and DC & AC machines.
