Course aim

To enable students to develop a research thesis that is informed by Aboriginal world views and meets both Aboriginal community and UniSA standards for research.

Course content

The Aboriginal research thesis will address an area of specific professional interest to each student, for example, education, social work, health, arts, multi-media or the law, which is also of interest to an Aboriginal community or communities. The thesis will incorporate Aboriginal research methods and ethics.

Assessment in this course, together with work completed in Aboriginal Studies Minor Thesis 2, will contribute to the presentation of an 18,000 word thesis.
