Course aim

To enable students to conduct catchment scale flood assessments at varying risk levels and devise appropriate flood mitigation strategies.

Course content

This course covers three modules:

  • Module 1 – Regional Flood Frequency Studies (RFFS)
  • Module 2 - Flood Routing (FR), Catchment Modelling and Flood Forecasting
  • Module 3 – Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD)
